Evening all,

I didn't make it on yesterday, work was ridiculously busy and stressful, then we needed to do a food shop in the evening and I'd just had enough of pretty much everything by the time we got home! Today has gone better though, and it's Friday tomorrow!

Had a quick pasta dinner when we got in tonight as I am playing taxi in a bit. Taking OH to his sports practice as he doesn't drive (bit of a sore point in our house!) and it's raining. At least I then get a peaceful eveining and some me time!

Just a quick one today, I will try and catch up properly tomorrow. Hugs to those still not sleeping or feeling down.

Bitsy and NPM - so sorry your sons are having a tough time, it can't be easy for you or them. Sending positive thoughts.

Evening all
Late post from me, chucking it down here, has been most of the day, no doubt the flood waters will be rising.
A day from hell at work, ran out of toner for all but one of the machines, ordered some ages ago, was only told y'day that earliest delivery will be 29th Jan! Managed to source some from elsewhere, but cost an arm & a leg.
I had a print run of 250 booklets to do by 3:30, master copy finally proofed & with me at 3:10! I stayed an hour to get the run done on time, tomorrow I shall leave at 2 as it will be quiet then.
Then I had to drop hubby's pc a the menders, then drop a parcel at DD2's, didn't get home til 5:30.
I had pilchards o toast for tea & can now relax til hubby needs collecting around 10ish.

Good evening everyone.This rain is really getting beyond a joke now I think my joints have turned rusty with all of the damp.and I'm back on the diclofenec three times a day plus pain killers I hate having to take them, but its that or I seize up completely.
I am definitely becomeing akin to a squeaky old gate :):)
DGD Holly came to lunch today which was nice,she finishes at Uni in June, fingers crossed for her degree.I think she wants to do her PGCE when she has finished.She is on a placement at a nursery at the moment as she is doing an Early Childhood studies degree at the moment,but we'll see when she finishes in June what she decides to do.She also works part-time in a special-needs school which she enjoys as well.
Well another week has whizzed by,soon be spring hopefully.I have bulbs up already in my garden, just need a bit of sunshine to cheer us all up I think.January is a bleak month I think and seems to last forever doesn't it.
Right time to make some dinner I think.I fancy some scrambled eggs for a change as I'm not really hungry as such and I don't fancy standing cooking for long.

Evening all,

My staples are out, the wound is nice and clean and it didn't hurt too much
Had a visit from my brother who brought me a lemon meringue and some tulips, he knows me so well.
Dh has gone to his meeting at a very posh restaurant, he's not paying so fair enough, but I'm jealous stuck inside all day and now all evening on my own as well. Not his fault at all, I've never been through such a range of emotions in such a short period of time.
How's Judi, I've noticed she hasn't posted for a couple of days.
Ok going to settle down and watch bake off. Have a good evening x
