Well its Roxburgh handling things now0

How do you know? You're not the OP.
Or do you mean - In general? (I find that unlikely for an IPC member company).
Roxburghe have sent a letter last week so i assume they are now dealing with it. Probably going to be getting a Graham White solicitor letter next lol.
Thanks for the advice coupon-mad, i will keep all letters filed just incase as you say.0 -
Update- After receiving 3 letters from roxburghe, I have now had a letter from Gladstone solicitors (pictures below). I have searched the forum for 'Roxburghe Gladstones' as suggested in other threads. Its seems that this letter is not a Letter before claim.
I'd just like to know whether I should ignore this letter and wait to see if anything else is received, or to respond with a letter similar to the one posted by zzzLazyDaisy here; http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showpost.php?p=64748310&postcount=18

Thanks for all the help.0 -
You could ask them who their client is. That should cause them to consider.0

Search this forum for 'Roxburghe Gladstones' - don't think any cases have gone to court, that's just Roxburghe using Gladstones letters.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Ive had a look, not sure whether to write to them as per zzzLazyDaisy's template, or to just ignore until any actual court papers come through, if any.
Until now ive not responded to anything, I'm thinking I should just continue to ignore and see what happens. What do you think?0 -
Yep it's up to you, whatever you feel more comfortable with. Roxburghe can be ignored and these letters seem to be one of theirs. Just don't ignore actual court papers if ever they arrive.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Just an update and after some advice.
Ive not received any more letters after the Gladstones letter, but today my mum received a call from roxbourghe, she didn't realise what it was for and she gave them address details and also said that she was not the driver. They have asked us to pay £160 within the next 7 days. And also mentioned that they could take her to court if its not paid.
I'm just looking to get some advice on how to proceed from here now. Shes not told them who the driver was only that it was not herself. Would you say its advisable to just continue to ignore, or should i call them to discuss?
any help is much appreciated.
Thanks0 -
you should never speak to any debt collector, nor give them any information
I would ignore gladstones and poxburghe completely and only deal with any LBC or MCOL paperwork that comes through the post
this advice has been given thousands of times on here already
ie:- ignore the debt collectors, never speak to them, dont write to them , ignore them - period0
