Thanks INOD, I will do that today, and It will be the beginning of my vision board.

The vast majority of the clothes money that I raised from the £6.00 a day challenge, last month, was spent on DS, leaving me with a balance of £20.00 for the 'big do'. This was further reduced, yesterday, to £17.52 as I popped into a couple of charity shops and got myself two pairs of new shoes for a grand total of £2.48. I am particularly pleased with a leather pair of Pediconfort shoes.

I am now on the look out for anything that can be sold on ebay, with a minimum of £5.00 profit, which will be used to swell the clothing fund.

Day two of Project Peacock went to plan and I went along to the gym, in the evening, for a pilates class and a sauna.

I am meeting up with my aunt, this afternoon, in John Lewis to spend the coffee and cake voucher and vouchers that I got from Waitrose customer service, so I am looking forward to that and I will finish the day with an audio mystery shop which will net me £30.00!

    Onwards and upwards x.

    Hi Rainbow, INOD, Sassychick

I love all you motivational ladies with your plans and active lives.

Rainbow the dress sounds lovely and by the sounds of things it won't be long before you are wearing it.

Today was a low spend 1.50

    Coin stash up to 28.00
    AFD's -2/25 :(
    NSD's - 3/15 :)
    Mexico pot - 2.00
Have started another pot................ for Mexico for a significant birthday which isnt for a few years but hey ho, its nice to have a goal. My VBF and myself both have a significant birthday in the next 4-5 years with a 0 in it and its not 50 :( so we have decided to go on the trip of a lifetime to Mexico to a yoga and spa retreat. This has given me the impetus I needed. Once I get my Masters out of the way. Then I can holiday............... onwards and upwards.

    Namaste.

    Have a good weekend y'all.

    Flanno.

So we are off to the Himalayas, Mexico and Australia, are there any other holiday of a lifetime dreams out there? 2.00 is a start flanno!! 25 AFD's looks a tad difficult to achieve now, but 2 is certainly better than 0, and you can put it down to pre-exam nerves x.

I have taken a picture of my dress INOD and I presently have it hung on the back of the study door while I have been trying to envisage the perfect accessories for it, but it is going back in the cupboard for safe keeping.

I have ordered a very delicate shrug and strappy sandals, that I am hoping will match perfectly, off ebay, and that has cost me just £2.00 over my £20.00 budget. I have found a clutch bag in the wardrobe that matches, so I am almost there.

The best news is that the dress does just fit already, but with toned arms, a flat belly and a tight girdle, it will look much better. I stuck to my calorie count yesterday and had my first couple of glasses of wine for the week, boy did I enjoy them!

Today I am doing 33 sit ups, 33 bicep curls, 33 tricep curls, 33 seconds plank and 33 minutes on the exercise bike.

My MSE endeavour, will be to sign up for one survey site and earn £1.00 for my Christmas pot.

    TTFN xx.

Thanks Sassy, I have been doing some more spending, this morning, too...... I have got a lovely new mac and jeans from M&S. I used Quidco, codes, free delivery and I bought sale items, but I still spent £50.00! I do need both of these items and I could not find anything suitable in charity shops or on ebay so I took the plunge.

This morning I have done a review of my finances and things are looking very tight for the rest of the month. I am on track for my £6.00 a day challenge, but this clothes spend is out of budget, and I would like to re-coup the money by the end of the month.

I have talked DH and DS into giving me a hand to clear out the loft on Saturday and we will do a car boot sale on the 24th May to sell anything that will get us a penny or two. I know there is a very good cot up there for starters.

Three things that I am going to do today to keep on track:-

    1. Chase up a company who overcharged me to add £8.00 to my pot.
    2. Post ebay item and sell a DVD.
    3. 30 minutes on exercise bike and stick to healthy eating plan.

Car boots are great aren't they? I love doing them but can never be bothered with the collating of stuff to sell in the first place! I'll have to do the same as you and rope someone into help me.

If you've managed to get your M&S shop down to £50 using codes/vouchers etc you must have saved something so well done, don't be so hard on yourself.

Have a good day :) xx

    Thanks Fortune and Sassy.

I saved £30.00 on my M&S order and when I phoned up another company about the £8.00 over charge on a business order, the company refunded me the whole £37.63 as a gesture of good will!!

Sometimes, the customer service is so good that you wonder how the company ever makes a profit. That is all going in my clothing pot, so I am only £12.27 short now.

Onwards and upwards. When I think of how much money I have wasted over the years it makes me shudder. It could all have been spent, much more purposefully, on things that I really wanted or needed, salted away, or shared with charitable causes, preferably a combination of all those things!

I've had a nice day out with aunt, and she treated me to lunch.

She was sorting out accounts at the bank today and I was horrified by the tales that the advisor was telling us about the scams being perpetrated on ATM's and current accounts in aunt's area.

Dear aunt was advised to leave only what she needed in her current account and to transfer everything else into a securer account as bigger balances and older customers were being particularly targeted. What a terribly sad state of affairs that is :(.

I am off to my yoga class ....... onwards and upwards x.
