Why do you constantly modify what you have posted? (even your original post gets changed on a regular basis).

Is it due to the number of errors that you make?

Hpuse, do you feel able to address any of the questions I posed is post #751?

    Here is the link.
You can search the entire history there.
I've looked for the history but couldn't find it.
Could you possibly help me with that too?
Because if we could find the history, a lot of doubt would be removed.

    What misleading service?

You are the only person who states that they are misleading.
The ASA certainly don't think this (as clearly shown by the link to their website that you provided).
You posted this link and once it was pointed out to you that there is no mention of any of the passport/driving licence websites on the ASA website, you seem to have gone extremely quite on that particular subject.

    Why is that?

Please read the link below re: "misleading". If you do not understand the difference between non-compliant and misleading, please contact ASA at enquiries@asa.org.uk

Avoiding answering my questions too. Not surprising really.

    And?

That link basically states that they have been taking action,
Following a number of complaints about the misleading nature of some of these sites we’ve been taking action to ensure their ads are clear and up-front.

which would indicate that the the sites remaining are compliant with the ASA requirements otherwise they would appear on their list of misleading websites.

Hpuse - please read : (from your link)

    - Take time to read the information on the website carefully to check it’s the official service

    and :

However, it’s not illegal for a company to charge for a service that you can get for free or
cheaper elsewhere, so we can’t act on complaints about that or stop these websites from
operating all together. The legitimacy of this kind of business practice, while questionable to
many, is a matter for Government and Trading Standards to tackle.

    @wealdroam

I have pasted a name and shame section on non-compliance
On this particular problem of copycat sites, we’re also
working together with gov.uk to counteract misleading advertising claims.

Yes, and there is not a single passport application company, driving licence application company or health card application company on that list.
What do you think is the reason for that is?
Could it be because they are now all ASA compliant?

I suppose that's easier than having to answer difficult questions.
In the time it took to you to post, you could easily have typed an answer to the question asked (if you had an answer that is).
