1254 posts all because somebody believes that we should pander to those who don't bother to actually read what they're putting their information into.

When will people learn that google is a business, and as such their prerogative is to make money.

It's not even like they're deceptive about which if their listings have paid for priority placement !!!!!!. They're the ones in the coloured box with "AD" next to them...

    Really?

In that case, maybe peachyprice is wrong about the Post Office check and send service being a 'paid for' ad because as far as I can see, it does not have 'AD' next to it.....
Sorry, things got slightly out context with quotes. To clarify you disagreed with missprice when she said its still a paid for advert and a rip off.

IMO, that's exactly what it is, just a government endorsed one.

Oh no you gone and done it now.

You will soon be told to hush your mouth, cos you must be a spokesperson for these vile and reprehensible rip off sites.

Just you wait, hpuse is just hoping to have a reason to keep this thread going to infinity and beyond.

See the pic in post 1241 ?

Right next to the top listing for check and send in little type surrounded in yellow is the word ad.

Well, that's weird - because when I Google 'UK passport renewal' as hpuse appears to have done, there's no 'AD' in a little yellow box against PO check & send.

    Oh. OK.

The screenshot was posted by hpuse so maybe not so weird after all.

But still no 'ad' against the listing on my PC.

I don't believe what hpuse posts so I went straight to the horse's mouth and Googled it for myself.....

There is a famous quote by Abraham Lincoln:
You can fool all the people some of the time, and some of the people all the time, but you cannot fool all the people all the time.

Copycats!! - your days are counted.

Do you use Adblock or similar? (The PO result will still appear in the list as a standard search result).

    Nope.

Do you see the yellow box with 'AD' in it when you Google?
