Battery discount

The car battery is original and 8 years old, and in the last few weeks has started to sound a little sluggish when starting from cold. This morning, leaving work, there was a definite hesitation before the engine fired, so I have bit the bullet and ordered a new one. I reckon 8 years is a decent service life and working odd hours I need the car to be reliable.

Anyway, Eurocarparts are doing a discount on batteries at the moment. Enter voucher code BATTERY15 for a 15% discount off the previous price. I got an Exide (100 size) for mine for £67, which I think is pretty good.
If someone is nice to you but rude to the waiter, they are not a nice person.

    Ordered Wednesday, delivered Thursday, fitted it today. No complaints here.
    If someone is nice to you but rude to the waiter, they are not a nice person.

    That's the 'click and collect' price. Mine was with delivery included. I live out in the sticks, so no option to collect.

    Doing the sums, that works out at £5.75 for next day delivery. I can live with that.

    When I ordered it a few days ago, the only cheaper price than the £66.99 I paid was a 'collect only' price. That price has now disappeared from the site, and replaced with the 23% reduction you refer to. That price was not available when I ordered. I guess in a competitive market they are adjusting prices day by day.

    So, apologies for not being clairvoyant and telling folks about a better discount that wasn't on the site at the time.

    You obviously didn't do enough research! Eurocarparts mail order only arm Carparts4less standard price for that battery is £61.24 here

    However you could have paid only £52.94 delivered here from the same company, so even if you think that your price was pretty good, your money saving recommendation was actually rubbish!
