No, this is a windup.
12 months ago the oil was flagged as low, 2 days before the next MOT test the oil gets topped up, 3 litres in an engine that without checking probably holds 4.5 litres at the most.
If its true, and i doubt it, then this car deserved a better owner, or rather the owner deserved a French or German car of similar age, one that wouldn't have been quite so forgiving and would expensively have given up the fight long ago.0
