Tesco.com Phoned To Say Wine To Heavy And Can't Deliver Today Or Tomorrow!!
Comments
-
I got the Ocado offer too. The terms and conditions which apply are:
1. don't pay if they don't deliver at all, only if they are late!
2. don't pay if they "re-schedule" your delivery or cancel it
3. don't pay if they substitute items (whether you accept the substitutes or not, only if they fail to deliver more than 2 with no substitutions)
So not such a good offer after all, and one I won't be taking up, given how completely rubbish they were on the one and only occasion I tried to use them. Tesco on the other hand have been excellent0 -
what are the T&C for Tesco?
"Order something and we will get round to delivering when we feel like it?"
May not quite be worded like that.We all evolve - get on with it0 -

are they making excuses for really not actually having the wine in stock yet ?
if your ordered on say monday, i can understand the vehicle being too heavy but then your wine should be the first thing put onto the lorry on tuesday so you get it the next day, not keep using the same excuse for several days0 -
Surely it can't be as heavy as the 6 slabs of 24 tins of dog food I order?

They probably have the wine in stock now.
Seeing as the problem occurred close to 4 years ago, they've had plenty of time to get some in!0 -

I've been caught out by responding to old questions a couple of times myself. I normally read the posts without looking at the dates they were posted.0
