I hope someone can help... I am paying a builder's interest free loan (which is the deposit element of the flat purchased) The builder gets x% of the flat value when I sell. I have saved £4k of the £16k but have realised that the value of the flat is going up... which means the builder will be massively quids in and I'll lose out. I want to pay the rest of the loan on a card and pay £250 per month.

Can you help identify the best card deal?

Maybe you can help a fellow Blue Darren?

To clarify you want to put 12k on a new credit card?

I think you would be very lucky to get a new card with a 12k limit. A Loan may be your best bet. 12k over 5 years with someone like Sainsburys or Nationwide would be around the £200 a month mark.

    Hope this helps

Depends on your credit history and income..
    What's a 'Blu Darren' ?
  • Does this "x% when the flat is sold" refer to when you actually sell the flat? Or when you repay the deposit loan?

If it is the former, then what is the hurry to repay the deposit?

If it is the latter, then it sounds as though you need a loan for 12k over 5 years. You aren't going to get a 12k limit on a 0% credit card.
