Has the 2% inflation rise been confirmed?

Inflation has not risen by 2%, it has dropped to 2.0%, from 2.1% in December, 2.2% in October, and 2.7% in september.

    Rate rises... No chance.

Deflation is potentially far more painful.

Surprising lack of statistic deniers in here.

RPI rose to 2.7% will that do?

I will, however, be thinking about him all afternoon.....

...I'm off to watch "The Railway Man" [Colin Firth] at discounted OAP prices of course.

Must let us know whether it was worth watching..

A decent enough film. Worth watching.

Based (so they say) on a true story of a POW who was desperately tortured and eventually he went back to confront and meet the Japanese guy.......

Full of flashbacks, though, which I suppose are neccessary for this type of film. A 'human' story, which, if anywhere near true, becomes a bit of a weepie....

Quite feasible. Especially if last year was the only one in the last 15 that he didn't make a claim.
