Does no-one on here have a job?
Not that I'm bitter or anything that I have to go to work tomorrow ;)

Good luck to everyone that is going - actually scrap that, good luck to anyone going to get a few thing for themselves, family or friends and for presents. I don't wish luck to those that are going shelf sweeping to sell on

Why do you have to get up early? Are they not open normal time?

A lot of the stores open early if there are queues outside. The sale starts online about 4am, or 6am, then the site crashes a lot. Read my post on the first page. Unless you're up and at it early you're realistically wasting your time!

to do an online order - the Boots website goes mental early hours of the morning on 75% off day :rotfl:
  • I'm sure it's already been confirmed but just to say SA at my local branch warned me it was 70% not 75% this year.

Does anyone think that the fact it will be 70% off this year instead of 75% will be enough to put off the ebayers/car booters/traders?
i.e not as much profit to be made?

I have a day off tomorrow, might trundle into town to have a butchers :)
  • Are you okay to put your items in large bags if they have run out of baskets before you have paid for your items???

Also my store Lakeside Thurrock is down as opening at 9:30 am - is it likely to be open earlier than this??

    Thanks

Never done it myself, would imagine it would look like potential shop lifting, although I guess they can't accuse you unless you try to leave the store without paying.

This was my worry but when I went last year you queued for half hour to pay and there are only so many items you can carry without dropping one???
