    Yeh I have the same problem, I'm 18 and tried to apply for my provisional back in March or April, due to the fact things occurred that put my health in jeopardy I had to put it down..... Half way through September and they still havent even looked at my case! After numerous phone calls all they have decided to say is 'sorry sir, our team is back logged' because I don't have it, I've missed out of many job opportunities that require you to drive. Thanks DVLA.

    I got the process speeded up by getting my MP to help: any communication from him goes to the top without delay.
