Amazon closed account but I am due refund

Long story short as it can.
I bought quite a few items before christmas, first was a tablet and graphics card, the tablet had been opened as seals were off and sides of box were torn so I returned it and got a refund, and the graphics card was DOA and I got a refund.
Then just before new year I ordered some pc parts and a few presents for a birthday coming up, they took 2 weeks to arrive despite being prime 1 day delivery(the new year was blamed) so when they all arrived I returned them in bulk, they were collected over a week ago but the tracking numbers showed as invalid so I had to chase it up with Amazon daily to get them to finally refund all but 1 item(worth £400)
Got an email this morning saying the amount of returns I had was suspicious as was the fact that all seem to be delayed in transit so they were closing my account.
Now fair enough I returned loads of items but they are refusing to refund the £400 item despite it being in their possession since Friday, because they claim they dont have it and even if they did they wont refund due to the suspicious amount of refunds already received.
What are my legal rights? I expect they can close my account but what about the £400 they have of mine I hope I dont have to go to small claims court!

You send them a Letter Before Action (LBA), giving them 14 days to refund you else you will commence action in the small claims court. If they don't refund (or even respond) then you initiate that action via Money Claim Online (MCOL). An LBA normally kicks companies into action. (Send it 1st class post with a (free) certificate of posting. You'll need to search to find where to send an LBA).
OR ... if you paid by credit card then you raise a section 75 claim with your credit card provider.0 -
How were they returned - via DPD, and have you asked them for the correct/ valid tracking numbers? Are they denying that they received the whole parcel, or one item within a larger parcel?0

Each item had a separate tracking code, what they say is its not counted as received until the returns department logs it as doing so as it takes a few days, but I know from the 1st return it took about 3 weeks to be counted as received.
And yes I have receipts/tracking for each via DPD0
