Decided on a car, now where to find one?

I'm glad you back me on the red one. I had a silver car before and could never find the damn thing as there are so many of them. Having said that I don't plan to sell it for 4-5 years (longer if its reliable and nice) so I assume resale will be pretty poor by that stage anyway
I called the dealer on the first one. It hasn't been serviced by Hyundai garages and they have no invoices to prove that the correct parts were used, just the book stamps. The guy was patronising and told me it was a load of rubbish to think Hyundai might need the backup. So that one's off the list0 -
Well you seem to be a little more confident it the questions that you need to be asking now and going about researching the cars before wasting your time traveling all over the place looking at cars that rant suitable. So I'm sure your going to find the right car eventually . I'm just wondering if you've checked the Hyundai uk used car stock? As I'm fairly sure if they have the right model/ price car at a dealers that's outside the area that you are willing to travel to, they will normally do inter branch transfers if your a genuine buyer? But don't hold me to that as I've had no dealings with Hyundai. Citykid0

Thank you! Actually my research has led me back to the first car I saw being a good deal. I now need to go and check it over bodywork and engine wise, but it is Hyundai approved and newer. Obviously outside my budget but I would be happy to go over as it was a totally plucked out of the air figure to begin with.
So my next question is - is a 10% discount likely from a dealer? I would be paying cash next week. That would be a fair deal for both sides, according to the Honest John valuations0 -
Please don't ask me about discounts I rarely get anything of cars LOL
But if you don't ask you'll never know.
Best of luck0 -

A 10% discount should be easily achieved if you have no old car to be traded in.
Good luck - you now sound like a very sensible buyer, by the way.0
