I don't think they are trolls, just people who struggle to realise that not everyone holds the same views as them! I don't personally think Radley bags are a bargain as I don't like them but then I don't feel the need to go onto that thread and spoil it for people that do.
Ooo decisions! I love the colour teal so would probably keep that one but the pink and plum would probably go nicer together!
No I am working a late today
but will probably have another look Thursday during late night shopping, I have never really looked in TK MAXX before this so will definitely be popping now more often

One of them has been seen ruining at least two other threads, so at least one troll
I like the teal and the red but I would buy clothes in those colours but not homeware...No Buying Unnecessary Toiletries 2023

I won't go today though, I can't be bothered yet, plus I need to work out which two colours I'm keeping out of the four colours I bought! I think I'll keep pink and plum and return teal and red....:D
So you buy things knowing you'll take them back? I abhor this sort of practice, particulary on goods that according to you are in demand. Selfish and wastes retailers time. More retailers should offer a credit note on purchases that are returned only because the buyer has changed their mind. It's only goodwill that most don't but if everyone took advantage of it like you then I'm sure more might go down the credit note route.0 -
Hahahahahaha, I've never come across someone with such strong views on buying more than one colour. So you buy things knowing you'll take them back? Thank you kadison for the post! I called my local TKMaxx stores but the shop assistants in all three answered very quickly and abruptly that they don't have any stock, but at the not so local Homesense I got a very polite girl that went to check and is now holding a couple for me until the end of the day :j
I really don't understand why this thread has spiraled into a class hatred from the brand hating towards the rest of us that prefer spending out money on better quality products. And yes, generally if the original price for a towel was 125 then you can be sure it will last you a lot longer then the one from Primark (unless its Bicester Village Ralph Lauren stock absolutely appalling quality:( )!
Also there is nothing wrong with buying different colours if you are undecided, especially for home decor. A lot of people can't visualise their home decor or need a second opinion and its common practice for home furnishing stores to let customers buy a few different colours of the same product so that the customer can see them all in situ and decide which they like best.0 -
The reverse snobbery on here is amazing sometimes!
People are entitled to like high end brands and share "relative" bargains. Just because it isn't pennies doesn't mean it isn't a good MSE deal for someone!0 -

I don't really see any 'class hatred' here. The people that seem to have got on the highest of horses are those defending the rights of people to spend £125 on a towel
I do though have to take issue with the statement that it will last 'a lot longer' than a Primark towel. They are both towels, likely both made in Bangladesh. They will last similar lengths of time, the AP one certainly won't last 15 times the length of the Primark one...0 -
I have just looked and the towels are made in Portugal.
I can feel and see the difference in quality of them compared to a Next towel therefore I would imagine that it would be the same if not more compared with a Primark towel.0 -

Just seen some of the towels and brand name or not the bath sheets and larger bath sheets are very heavy and thick and well worth it if you are wanting towels anyway.fab quality.i don't need any so didn't buy.a beach towel would of been nice but they didn't have any0
