RRP means absolutely nothing. They don't even need to have sold it at that price beforehand. They could perfectly legally claim RRP of £1,000...that would make your towel an even better bargain, wouldn't it?!0

Those definitely dont read mse forums, but yes, there are plenty who would go and buy those £125 towels....
The same with handbags, shoes etc... Im happy with my £35 leather bag, my friend is happy with £600 hers....0 -

Refrain from what prey tell; having an opinion? Why don't you concentrate on your own posts and ignore those you don't like. It really is that simple.Sex and Drugs and Sausage Rolls.0 -
Me and my friends love Agent Provacteur and the items they sell, the prices are high so when I can get deals like this it makes it even better. We're all different, I don't think every deal on grabbit is a bargain so I'm adult enough to ignore the threads I won't use, if you don't like it, don't comment.0

I don't see why I have to defend why I like a brand to someone.
All I am saying is just because its not a bargain to you does not mean its not a bargain to someone else. Thanks to this deal I can give my best friends a birthday present they will love for half the price I usually spend on them. Yes I could have gone to Primark and bought them a beach towel for £5 but why would I if they don't like Primark stuff, thats more of a waste of money to me.
Oh and the spelling.. my phone changes my spelling while I write and this time I didn't realise, thats all?0 -

I'm not asking you to defend your choice, I was pointing out that such brand loyalty, without making any reference to quality etc, would imply you have been hooked in by a marketing machine, you are paying extra for the name. It is not a criticism, I used to be the same until I realised that a high price does not necessarily mean the best product!0 -
Well I would never pay full price for it, we go to Bicester Village where its cheaper or wait until they have a sale. Personally no other underwear (apart from Bravissimo) fits me the way Agent Provocateur does so I would rather have less sets of that then a lot of cheap underwear that feels uncomfortable also my friend has Cystic Fibrosis and was "lucky enough" to get a transplant, after her recovery we went to Vegas to celebrate and during we all bought new AP underwear sets together to help her with her scarring so this is why its special to us and we tend to buy each other stuff from there (I got a candle and mirror for christmas). I appreciate that its personal to me but this is why I am saying although its not something you would buy or be interested in, it does not mean thats its the same for everyone else.0

I am going to ignore the trolls.
I am with you on the primark thing, primark is fine but if you want something to last a long time you have to seek out the higher quality stuff, and I know these towels will last for years, so £30 to me is bargain.
Have you been back to look again? I might go and see if they have any beach towels at mine for later in the year. I won't go today though, I can't be bothered yet, plus I need to work out which two colours I'm keeping out of the four colours I bought! I think I'll keep pink and plum and return teal and red....:DNo Buying Unnecessary Toiletries 2023
