Hi. I kept getting messages of low memory etc so bought an SD card and inserted it and i am still getting messages of low memory. I know I am doing something wrong. How do I get any apps to go on the memory card rather than the phones very small memory? driving me mad:mad:

An android phone I take it?
The apps quite often have to be on the phones physical memory - but you can move media like music, photos and film across to the SD card, or just shift them onto your computer to free up space.
Then use an app like "apps to SD" which will move any apps that can be moved over to the SD to free up the phones internal memory.
Delete any apps you don't use, particularly games which can hog space.0 -

Go into Settings > Phone > stoage and it should give you a breakdown of what is taking up space. You can decide where to focus your efforts from there.0

Do you use Google Hangouts?
If not, uninstall it.
Made a great difference to the memory available on my wife's Galaxy Ace.0 -

I think it depends if your phone is rooted, if it isnt then no you cant but you can uninstall the updates for say Facebook eg mine was on contract from Orange so locked to them and theres apps like Facebook and others that came pre installed0 -

I've got a phone with a very small internal memory and I went through the apps manager list and uninstalled all the updates to google services - hangouts etc. I also check the google browser in the apps manager and delete all data on that - that can eat up a lot of space.0
