No. The little arrows are called steppers apparently. I've searched on Google and it appears they removed them in the last Chrome update. There is a bit of a call to get them reinstated but Google who own Chrome are saying the don't want to as it's part of the clean new look. There are a few workarounds using extensions but they don't seem that successful. Most people are saying they will use Internet Explorer or Firefox until it's fixed.

I un-installed Google Chrome Lost all my Bookmarks installed Firefox as a temp browser had a load of junk stuff came with it, (but thats no biggy) re-installed Chrome and its still the same. Now i know why. thanks chrisw Not sure if i will stick with Firefox now or not, what would all the readers do. or should i buy a mouse with the scroll wheel as my finger pad? on my laptop the scroller dont work

Only the steppers have disappeared, the function is still there. Just put cursor at top/bottom of space above/below slider and use as previous.

    They've disappeared for me too.

Many online say this extension fixes the problem - https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/rescroller/ddehdnnhjimbggeeenghijehnpakijod

    Its not only the Steppers,
In some situations ( only with drop down boxes AFAIK) the 'Thumb' part (the dark grey slider) can't be grabbed by the mouse either - only up/down keys or mouse wheel work

Not clear if intentionally applied to Windows or not

oh dear I'm another one, thought it was my laptop. It's very frustrating, doesn't bother me too much but it does if I'm trying to fill in a form using drop down boxes.

I've noticed something in Chrome too ... select a drop down list then scroll the mouse wheel and the list closes and the page scrolls instead. (Didn't used to be like this ... this has only started happening within the past wee while).
