You wont 'need' 8gb ram for another 2 years, only 1 game is coming out this year that wont run on 4gb. By the time 6gb is insufficient to run games, the gpu in the laptop will be unable to play at a decent frame rate anyway.
A) I did say I could upgrade the ram, and
I just posted an update regrading a company. 0 -
Nev you can get tired, but as you yourself admit, a desktop is better for the job. That's all I was saying and depending on how serious a gamer you are, dictates if you want a laptop or a desktop - the seriously mental among us get into water cooling, now I'm not that far gone yet, but I'm thinking about it, I bench mark graduations in speed, I rejoice when those little improvements happen. Do they all matter? of course not, Do I notice them all? of course not but the compound effect on any given game when I shove it on the SSD, do I notice that? of course I do!!!So, as a laptop gamer (albeit not a serious one) I get sick and tired of people saying 'you need a desktop'. No, you don't. We don't all want SLi'd set ups, we don't all want to pay the premium in space and conveience for Ultra Graphics. Some of us just need a laptop that plays games..
granted, and this is where your point matters- OP isn't a serious gamer and correct, laptops can do most requirements and then some, but to get annoyed by me plugging the obviously superior product, well, you've probably heard it too often and your laptop probably runs everything you put on it - but it's the fact. The serious gamer wants a desktop.0
