BT Indirect access numbers EXCLUDED

Hi
Was going to cancel BT and move to the Post Office because of the price rise. Called BT and they reduced my monthly charge down to £13.99 including caller display.
Since I mainly use 18185 and other indirect services and wasn’t sure what the situation would be with the PO decided to stay with them.
HOWEVER just got an email from BT confirming my order with the terms and conditions. Contained therein was this clause
"Your plan excludes calls to dial-up internet and indirect access numbers. Indirect access numbers are numbers you might call to get a lower rate - you call them first, then they connect you. There are a few more exclusions"
Phoned back to cancel the new order because of that exclusion. Was told that the terms and conditions have not changed so if I was getting those indirect numbers free I still would. So why are they mentioned in the terms and conditions ??????????
Any ideas, are they going to start charging/restricting access to 18185etc?
Have 7 days to cancel the new yr contract.

That clause has been there for some time see https://community.bt.com/t5/Phones/Email-Order-concern/td-p/697520 but i believe it was aimed at such calls via 0845/0870 numbers.
BT had to allow access to indirect numbers like 18185 but the obligation was recently removed.http://stakeholders.ofcom.org.uk/consultations/nmr-13/statement/statement-summary
BT have not made any attempt to block them yet.
You would still be able to use 18185 service via 0808 freephone number if they did,but dearer for uk and some other calls.
