MSE says here that PO dont block indirect access numbers like 18185/1899
http://www.moneysavingexpert.com/phones/home-phone-calls#postoffice51
But i have seen reports that they do, since Talk Talk have taken over running the service from BT.
Can anybody confirm that this is the case on all PO Homephone lines or only those delivered by LLU ?

I am an existing PO Home Phone and Broadband user and my local exchange has Talktalk LLU. Therefore I assume I am now using TT service via POBB. My ADSL speeds are as fast as phone wires can deliver, whereas they were not. My router is reporting ADSL2+ 8190 Kbps 861 Kbps. Only my sister's sky broadband is faster as sky have their 'box' in her exchange.
I am no longer able to use 1899 direct but use instead 0808 1 708708 which is not chargeable as it is freephone. PO have not charged me for 0808 use. The above report is no longer valid. I have programmed the above number into my home phone.Flipflopnick

Yes and you can also use the 020 access number out of your inclusive minutes if you have any.
Rates differ to indirect access so you can pay more in some cases eg calling UK 01/02/03 numbers but its still cheap.
See http://www.1899.com/mobilerates.php for rates0
