I have booked +40 different hotel stays with various wholesalers, not once has there been a problem with overbooking or non availability.
Ironically, a direct Travelodge booking at T5 was overbooked and we were "bumped" into the much inferior, and inconvienient T4 Travelodge.
TR, OTB etc are very successfull for a reason. They get it right most of the time.0 -
Just as an aside I travelled to Tenerife with Norwegian last year, they allow an extra, small, bag in the cabin and there is free WIFI on board. They prefer credit card to cash for on board purchases. It was all very good.
The only gripe is even if you go hand luggage only it is still necessary to check in at the desk or machine to get a boarding pass. The travel document issued at booking looks the part but is not valid as boarding card on the LGW-TFS route.
