Ah poor you! Why not try living within your means? Frankly you have no right to your inheritance because the donor has a perfect right to change their mind on who they leave money to any time before they die.
Just be patient and make your plans according to your own income.0 -

But now I'm older, have a job and I'm expecting to travel a ton in 2014. A car would be ideal but my current salary won't cover the initial deposit.
If you are looking at a new car you may want to read this thread

Doing so may change your mind about a new car and having to ask for an inheritance earlyRemember the saying: if it looks too good to be true it almost certainly is.0 -
The OP hasn't logged into this account since creating it yesterday because they are trolling and have many other accounts. Don't feed the trolls0

1. If you are real how selfish can you be? - seriously think about what you are asking...
2. Ton of travelling and car... wow. What then when you burn your way through that cash? another person must die to fund your unsustainable lifestyle?
Please please someone give me some reassurance that this person is the minority in Britain... not the majority!!!My Goal: From 1st of Jan 2015 to 31st of December 2015 is to save 30000.

Have a nice friendly but slightly threatening conversation which at the end sets a deadline in terms of getting "your money".
On the day of the deadline, casually stroll up drinking a glass of orange juice and ask if there was some confusion about the deadline. Whatever the response is, compliment your orange juice and smash the glass and use it as a weapon. Follow that up by asking "where the @@@@ your money is" repeatedly whilst slamming their head in the toilet lid and using a golf club on them whilst shouting "don't make a fool out of me" at the top of your voice. At this point stop, set a new tighter deadline and if you don't have your money by then, use a flamethrower.
Watch Family Guy for the finer details if more information is needed.

I'm going to play the Devil's Advocate on this one - cf Jegersmart on the 'young, dumb and living off mum' thread.
Firstly, to all those people saying someone needs to die before their inheritance can be distributed, you are being either very simple, or deliberately contrary.
My grandma was sorting out her inheritance well before her death, to try and avoid inheritance tax. This included a cash gift made to each grandchild, which was either given to them at that point if she considered them to be mature enough to receive it, or placed in a trust/held on to by herself if not (I'm not sure which, as I was considered to be in the former category).
It sounds as though the OP's donor is doing the same. It also sounds like they might be distributing it fairly mechanically - e.g. 20% on each birthday from the ages of 21-25, with the OP being the youngest recipient. If so, OP I would respect their wishes rather than rocking the boat. Making any sort of request would risk you looking ungrateful. If you are adamant that you would be able to use it wisely, I'd prepare a proper case as to why you think it would be a good time for you to receive it to make the best use of it. I would also state just how damned appreciative you are to be getting anything as well. The fact that 'everyone else has already got theirs' is not a good enough reason as to why you should have 'yours', otherwise they might decide you shouldn't get any more full stop.0 -
