prob with blackberry 9320 on ovivo

I wonder if anyone can help with some advise. I have tried contacting ovivo but they keep cutting me off.

I was using my blackberry 9320 with ovivo up to October. Last year since when they only support the b10.

I can still receive calls and strangely some incoming texts but cannot send texts or access the web.I am not concerned about the blackberry service as I have another phone to use, but would like to keep the 9320 as a family contact phone. So would like to be able to send. Texts and access the web. I would be grateful for any suggestions. Thanks

I think that you have already asked Ovivo about this and they have replied.

    Here

Of course you can attempt to check that the message centre number(for text messages) is correct and perhaps update the APN and profile for internet access.

Perhaps another Ovivo user can check the details and confirm them to you.

Perhaps you can think about using the Blackberry as a Blackberry and to use the other phone as the 'family contact phone'.

To this end you can purchase a T-Mobile SIM for £15 which will give you six months of Blackberry service. That way you can use the thing to it's full capacity. After that £20 every six months.

Thanks for your reply. No that is not my facebook posting.

Vigo did send out an email saying they were not continuing with older blacberrys. Since I can still use it for incoming and outgoing calls I think will keep it that way and see if anyone has the settings. As you suggested.
