No, it has two tuners and so if you are recording two programmes there is no way towatch a third live. Ifyou try it you get a pop up that says either cancel one of the recordings, or leave it as it is.

    This works fine.

I can do that with my present humax which has two tuners, although it's only certain stations you can watch. I suppose I could have a Freesat Humax and my existing Freeview Humax both connected which would solve the problem, I assume that's possible?
    It's someone else's fault.

Can't you use freesat box to record programs and watch third using TV tuner or doesn't your TV have freeview.

You can record two programmes on a twin tuner and watch any third one live, but you have to watch the third programme via the tv only ie switch the Humax to standby.

I've done this lots of times, with Humax and Sky boxes. In the latter case the aerial feeds the tv and the Sky box is put in standby mode.

I have Sky in the house and a Humax in the Conservatory. If my other half didn't want sports on Sky, it would be no contest. Sky would go.
make the most of it, we are only here for the weekend.
and we will never, ever return.

If you have enough inputs on TV then you can keep both boxes connected.
