Supreme Bathrooms and Showers Ltd. Grimsby

Has anyone else had problems with this company please. They came and installed our new bathroom in May 2013 but there were some problems. Plus we were waiting for electrical compliance certificates. They finally sorted the issues with the cabinets at the end of November but still no certificates. The electrical contractor finally came on the 20th December and issued the certificates. This meant we had been using the shower etc for nearly 8 months without confirmation that it was safe. In August I wrote to the company and asked them to get everything sorted as we wanted to settle their account. No reply. Eventually I was so fed up and upset that I wrote and told them we would be deducting £5 per day from the outstanding total of £6400 up to the date we had everything sorted. They never contact us - the only way to get a response is to write to the directors which I did. This resulted in the electrical contractor arriving. On 23rd December we decided we would send a cheque. I outlined the catalogue of errors with dates etc and sent a cheque by signed for post, so that they would have it when they returned from the Xmas break. This has never been collected from the post office although a card had been left. Since then I have sent two emails asking them to collect the letter and cheque or to let me know if they have lost the card and Iwould issue a new cheque. Its not because they know the cheque is less than the amount as I havent told them the figure. They have still not responded and I had to cancel this cheque. I am at a loss.I just cant understand why no response. I cant bring myself to ring them any more as it is causing stress and never results in anything.

    I'd put the money into a savings account, and wait to hear from them.

    You can tell a lot about a woman by her hands..........for instance, if they are placed around your throat, she's probably slightly upset. ;)
  • I have Lin. I am just incensed by them. I dont mind paying for anything I have bought but with the service we received - or should I say didnt receive then I am not giving in. I have even checked the insolvency notices etc but cant find anything. It is a complete mystery to me why they arent trying to sort it out.

    It seems they have several other businesses, including supplying bathroom fixtures,( amazon seller) very mixed reviews on trustpilot , read the comments,and replies , they seem totally disorganized, bares out your experiences.

    It seems they don't think it's worthwhile to finish the job they started with you as they're too busy doing other things.
    Very poor customer service.
    You are a textbook case of how they regard their customers.
  • Thanks for that hollydays. I didnt know they had other interests too. May explain it as you say. I have decided i will not contact them again - let them chase me. I have all the documentation to prove the things i have tried.
