Hope everyone has a nice evening, redruby and camelot - good luck fixing your leaks, plumbing type jobs are my least favourite.

Thank you we 'think' that he has done it, seems the builders had ran out of lead when they built the house 70 odd years ago ( its a wonder it lasted this long) and did not lead right around the chimney, OH replaced it all, fingers crossed that's done it, we wont know for sure till it rains again.

    Evening All

Went to outdoors shop and ended up at a different one about 20 miles away! Spent far too much but everything will be well used. Got a pair of Merrell walking shoes for £20 which is a real bargain.

    Take care. XX

Very envious of your Merrell boots, I love all shoes but especially walking shoes, and they were a good price !

    Evening all,

Has been anice day here, got colder as sun set, but anytning is better than rain or that white stuff!

Went out for brunch early afternoon as we had a voucher to use up OH had steak and I had a burger and chips...not sure why, didnt really fancy anything on menu, had 2 espressos afterwards and havent felt hungry since....DGS is here and had some cake.....so did I, feeling guilty but will not have anything else tonight.

Trying to get myself into habit of going to bed earlier so that I get up earlier, have slipped into bad habit in recent months, preferto be up and about early.

Hugs to all in need of one, stay safe and warm

Shopping bought, we can now eat for another week. Had a mooch round Debenhams for an eye shadow I'd been lusting after.

Tea cooked, he will have pork when he wakes up and I had lamb. Youngest will have pizza when he comes in.

Nothing on telly I am interested in, though I did enjoy bits of Ice Age 2. Anyway, that's me done for the day.:)

    Have a good evening all,

Arrived fine in Rouen, though late in hours, but it was planned this way. Spent time with DS, Fianc!e was away on her Bridesmaid Hen Do in Dublin. Another one for everyone in 1st March which I am attending!! They are struggling housework wise ATM, with them both working very long hours in the week, and wanting a but if social time at weekends. By the time they have tidied up and done the basics no time for deep cleaning. DS is tempted with a cleaner once a month for a blitz, but F says it should be possible for a small flat. I ended up blitzing the bathroom, and DS gave the kitchen a wipe over and hob and sink clean. I was very pleased I managed to get the Limescale out of the loo, from previous owners, a bottle of Limescale remover and a lot if scrubbing with the loo brush after it had soaked got all but the bend corners clear. Needs a bit more work, but had no more time today.
((Hugs)), spoons, doc., all round. Tomorrow we head for Pau,

    Take care everyone. DG
