Meal Plan Thread WB 13th January 2014

So this week we ate only what was on the meal plan, no swapping! That's a first. It's the end of the month on Thursday and we are looking to come under our food budget by 33p, that's the first time in 11 months! So the meal plans are working 
Monday is DD1 2nd birthday, and we're doing it tomorrow so DH can enjoy it (he leaves at 6am on Monday) so on Sunday we're planning our first meal out in 8 weeks
Sat 11th - Chicken Jambalaya
Sun 12th -
Lunch - McDonalds
Dinner - Bratwurst, Onions and Fresh Rolls
Birthday Cake - Pink Smarty Cake
Mon 13th - Beef Tikka Masala
Tue 14th - Toad in the Hole
Wed 15th - LO Beef Tikka Masala
Thu 16th - Chicken Jambalaya
Fri 17th(S) - LO Chilli with Sour Cream, Natcho's & Salad

Fri - HM Faggots, Mashed Potatoes & Vegeables
Sat - Steak & Salad
Sun - Sandwiches (Ballroom Dance Competition)
Breakfasts: Muesli, Porridge, Wheatbran etc.
Lunch: Salad, Sandwiches Or Soup

still trying to use up what I have:
today: OH rack of ribs, chips and salad. I will have salad and maybe some kind of fish out of the freezer
Sunday: duck out of the freezer, yorkshires, potatoes, sprouts, carrots, broccoli, turnip and peas
Monday: pasta with HM tomato sauce
Tuesday: toad in the hole with potatoes and veg
Wednesday: steak, salad and chips
Thursday: bacon and leek pie
Friday: HM chicken/prawn curry with rice0 -
My meal plan for the week looks like this:
S - Grilled chicken sandwiches and crisps
S - (out for early birthday meal at parent's house) Chocolate strawberries
M - Turkey and veg chow mein
T - (out for anniversary meal)
W - Birthday! (Out all day so taking a picnic) Roast pork sandwiches, rice crackers, brownies, bananas / craisins
T - Roast pork belly with carrots, green beans, corn, sauteed potatoes and gravy
F - BBQ pork chops with sauteed potatoes and baked beans
Lunches will be roast pork sandwiches, baked potatoes with cottage cheese or soup.

I am busy defrosting a huge gammon that I got for just £4 YS :T
So that will be the base for our meals the next few days.
Sunday- Gammon dinner
Monday- Gammon and egg quiche with salad
Tuesday- Lo turkey curry with turmeric rice, well it had to make an appearance somewhere :rotfl:
Wednesday- Beef and mushroom pie with chips
Thursday- Gammon carbonara or gammon with cauliflower cheese
Friday- Pizza and garlic bread
Saturday- Gammon and king prawn stirfry with home fried prawn crackers
Breakfasts will be toast, porridge or dried fruit with home made yoghurt.
Lunches will be gammon and pea soup or turkey wraps :cool:
Snacks will be hm flapjacks or lo christmas chocolate, fruit or nuts.
I have everything in except the salad and stirfry so it will hopefully be a low spend week :A£36/£240
