    What about Egypt, went 2 years ago in dec. Came home the week before xmass got a really good deal, a bit weird seeing all the decorations up and the sun splitting the trees though

    What's Cyprus like at Christmas?

    Cold!!!!!!!!!!

    Cyprus is the hottest place in the Med in summer, you can ski there in the winter.

    My sister goes to Thailand every xmas, she loves it out there btu she usually books well in advance as the flights get booked up

    try centerparcs in germany, for a fraction of uk cost, full skiing lessons / snowboarding etc -
    there are also codes available to get price down too

    I would love to go to canada at xmas all that snow.
    my SIL and Bro have just gone to spain.
    she booked in advance flights only as they go to see there daughter over there.
    my bro says he can go too as he is off the rig for then
    so my SIL book's him a flight £160 return (friday)
    then goes on it yesterday teatime at my house and guess what it's only £70 return.
    only you can decide if you want a rush job holiday or one you can plan.
