Incorrect reg on parking ticket

On New Year's eve i drove to work and parked in a council pay and display car park. I rang up to pay to park but came back to my car and there was a council parking ticket on the windscreen. The money hasnt gone out of my account, so unsure what has happened, but i thought id pay the fine and complain afterwards as i dont…

Yup, wrong reg is fatal to a legit ticket - they cannot go back and reissue it if a patroller makes a basic mistake like this.

Photos are at the very bottom of the evidential food chain in this situation and they can only be considered if everything else is is first established as all present and correct.
