A&L should be able to supply you with some bank statements - the underwriters will defo want to see your conduct. if not print them offline0

Yes A&L will provide me a copy of my statement but will charge me £5 each statement. I will drop by at our local branch today and asked them what they require if I'm going to appeal. many thanks regularsaver1.0

Just been to our local branch. Very good news, no need to make an appeal. I've been approved instantly.
I've asked reception with regards to my application which has been approved for a card cash. I have explained that I hold several accounts with them and can't understand why I wasn't approved. She then said would you have time today so that we could have a look at your account today? I certainly said yes without having to make an appointment to come back it could be my lucky day who knows.;)
To cut the story short I think it maybe due to my home address that has not been updated on their system as it still showing my previous address. But I can't understand that as I applied for their regular saver account last year and I've already use my currrent address which I've lived for nearly 5 years.
Anyway no complaints now and have put in £100 to make the account active then £1000 monthly for 2 mos. to benefit the £100. :T0 -
ahh sounds like when you applied the other day it treated you as a new customer and a new profile
now that things have been updated you have your sole profile with halifax relationship
i may be biased but I always think the branch is the way to go anyhow0 -
I applied for a mortgage with Halifax last year. Just got a credit report the other week and it shows Halifax made no less than 7 credit searches on me in relation to this application. All on different dates.0

janbanan - how long was your application to offer spread over, and then completion - they do have to do checks incase things become out of date, or more credit is taken since original application
at the back of a credit file with experian or equifax it usually explains how to put a note on your file or contact the lender to ask them to remove this many searches (obviously not all of them)0 -
regularsaver1 - it fell through a week or two after application. i've written to halifax asking what happened, in the hope they can sort it out. can entries be removed, or are they there for good?
Also, either halifax or my mortgage broker wrongly entered 29 years under time of residence at current address. This is showing on all 7 credit searches. It doesn't make me look good... They approved my application for the high interest account though0 -
how would you know about the 29 years? this doesn;t show on your credit file does it?
If it was your brokers submitting application, i guess it was your broker that keyed that0
