PC World threatening to tow on private land

In my opinion theres nothing wrong with signage when used as a sole deterrent, even if the signage threatens clamping/towing/fines etc.
When it does matter is when the threats are carried out, while most people on here know about clamping/towing etc on private land as well as the ins and outs of fines/penalty's etc etc a vast majority of the public do not.
If a car park owner has unenforceable but believable ( by the public ) signs up then that should be encouraged, especially if it helps get rid of unwanted parkers from their car park, and most importantly of all it keeps the ppcs out. From the Plain Language Commission:

Yes I told them that they could face criminal proceedings if they actually did tow/remove.
It seem to do the trick!0
