PC World threatening to tow on private land

Good old PC World threatening to tow away cars on private land in Oxford.

That aside, people's cars are only there because they are flooded in!

  • I'd be tempted to stick a sign across it saying "Try it and see" or similar.

From the way it's been written with a chunky felt pen I'd reckon that it's just an idle threat from someone who hasn't a clue and is probably unaware of the change in the law, making what they suggest illegal.

    To be ignored. ;)

The sign says that vehicles "may be removed" whereas looking at that photo it's far more likely that they will go floating downstream.

Considering the number of signs I still see about threatening to clamp, it's like they couldn't care less.

Well done! I was only in the vicinity at the weekend but had forgotten all about it. Did you point out that towing/removal is a crime nowadays?!
