The windows directory MUST be located and core on the main storage area.

Due to this the only way to recover it is to do a format/recover of the PDA! Refer to the manual on how to do this...

as merc killer said, you have screwed it up

Hold the power button down and hit the reset button at the bottom with the stylus.

hmm sounds like you need to use a flash recovery tool. Not sure if this is provided with O2?

    Hmmm,

If I recall, to hard reset one of these, you have to hold down the button at the top left side, the power button and the button at the top right side, then poke the stylus into the reset hole, STILL holding the three buttons down. You should be asked if you want to reset, and if so to press the SEND key, which is the green telephone key.

There is a knack to it, but you should get there.

No, not normal. If you get the timing wrong, in my experience, all that happens is that the device turns itself on.

Do you have the manual? The reset sequence is in there.

Alternatively, give this a look. (The Wizard Wiki from XDA-Developers).

I cannot do anything with the phone as it is none responsive, but it did turn on a couple of times when i pressed the button, it went onto the o2 screen but then turned off?
