Water in Power Steering Fluid Reservoir
I have inadvertantly put the smallest amount of water into the top of my power steering fluid reservoir. I've already googled and clearly this is not a good thing however the amount added was really small as the reservoir was already pretty full. I would estimate a table spoon or so.
Do I need to worry and or get it drained down and replaced before used?
Thanks

Change it. Not hard. The pipes go from reservoir to pump to rack to reservoir. Disconnect that return pipe - from rack to reservoir - at the reservoir. Place the end into a bottle of some kind. Start the car. It'll pump the fluid through into the bottle. Try not to let it empty the reservoir completely, and pour new fluid into the reservoir as it gets low. Take the steering from lock-to-lock as you do so, a couple of times. Keep going until there's quite a bit of new clean fluid come through. Stop the engine, reconnect the pipe, fill the reservoir, and start the car, then lock-to-lock again a few times. It's that simple.0
