toilet soil pipe blocked at drain in garden

cheers for the quick replies.

the leaf catcher is the tube on its side and it sits snug in the drian hole blocking the flow of the soil pipe.

the drian is covered by the covers in the pic so theres no real danger of getting any leaves down.

shall i remove the leaf scatcher and keep a eye on it? maybe mesh the top of the conny drain pipe?

I wouldn't think the soil pipe runs into or through the gully, most gullys have one connection, so the gully will join the soil pipe lower down the run.

I think the drain is getting blocked lower down the run and backing up to the nearest exit point ie the gully.
