Hi folks, this has just arrived from Amazon: http://www.amazon.co.uk/The-Dairy-Book-Home-Cookery/dp/1860194850/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1389451940&sr=8-2&keywords=dairy+book+of+home+cookery
Looks interesting.
Might also buy one of the Shirley Goode books.
As an aside, can anyone give me a freezable sprout recipe? Was in M&S to buy something completely different and they had sprout trees for 75p each so I bought 3. Not ultra money saving to buy from there but I do like a good sprout so took advantage!4.30: conduct pigeon orchestra...0 -
The Dairy Cookbook is my favourite. Apparently you used to get it from the milkman. My nan, mum and I all have copies. The one I have is the older version of the one you have got on that Amazon link (1970s edition). It is really useful for baking recipes. Worth keeping an eye out at charity shops etc for a copy.0
