Argos l wish l'd never bothered!

i ordered a washing machine online from argos, email confirmed it and delivery was for today so yesterday gave away my old one, they delivered today right on time, brought it through to the kitchen l looked at it and it was completely the wrong colour and make, phoned argos up and they cant redeliver till 21st jan, so annoyed

21st is a long time away! That's ridiculous, what could possibly take them so long to deliver a washing machine, that's nearly 2 weeks away. Have you tried going into a store and seeing what they can do for you? Have they taken the one they originally delivered back?0

could you not refuse delivery - and then order another one hoping to get a refund for the first one or perhaps going elsewhere.0

yes they've taken it away so looks like lm stuck, she says theres nothing they can do about the delivery date and are blaming on the manufactures not having any stock until then, but why say there were in stock when they obviously aren't she said they often replace things if they haven't got them in stock with something similar but why wouldn't they ask the customer and give them the choice, it seems ridiculous to me0 -

Especially since they sent you a different make, model and colour. It's not even like it's similar at all. They don't care about their customers clearly, just the money in their pockets.0 -

totally agree and their customer service is totally rubbish its the last time l use them
just to update you, they've now phoned again and they are prepared to give me a different washer of the colour l want which is £50 dearer for the same price and delivery for 14th so we'll see what arrives then, could be anything0 -

Assuming its a similar spec that sounds a good deal, go for it.I'd rather be an Optimist and be proved wrong than a Pessimist and be proved right.0
