Had a good nights sleep, it's amazing what a difference that makes. Today I will chase up student finance and ring my creditors to get actual balances- cross reference these with my own and let them know I'll be making offered ASAP! Some of them I will just pay in full I think to get rid- especially the interest/ charges adding ones, hopefully by this time next week the only debt I will have is 1 loan and my phone.

The kids have broken my Ex laptop and he wants me to pay to repair it! Basicly my toddler snapped the keys off and pushed it off the sofa and has broken the screen, I wasn't around when this happened as I was at work and he was supervising them ( well was supposed to be) but he is saying it's my responsibility. I have already given him £100 to get it fixed but it comes to more than this, but I guess now he has sent it to the apple shop I will have to pay for it. I'm so gutted as I really wanted to pay off a chunk of debt with that money!! :-(

Hi LittleAoife - glad you have a new diary - was inspired already by your post on the new board. Just being able to do your course and care for your children as you do - let alone with all the changes and adjustments - is so impressive. Well done - you are building the future you want for you and your kids.
On the laptop - how is it your responsibility? You weren't supervising the kids at the time so surely it is his responsibility? I think you've already been generous to contribute to it - I wouldn't give him any more. Good luck.0 -

Very nervous- I have my dyslexia test tomorrow. It has just cost me £250!!! I will get this back through the university eventually but it is just a lot to pay out in one go for something they could just say NO about! If they say I'm not dyslexic then I'm basicly just a bit dense. Lol
I'm £250 down and just stupid! Please think of / pray for me for tomorrow!!
I'll let you know how I've got on.

Today I was officially diagnosed as being dyslexic! I cried like a baby when the lady told me! It explains an awful lot! Lol. So happy as I will get help with my exams and essays. I feel like a huge weight has been lifted. Happy Friday guys.

After having lots of talks and lots of cry I have decided to try again with my hubby. He wants to come home and I'm not sure I'm ok with that right now but I am at least going to try- after all marriage is hard, it's not supposed to be a fairy tale and maybe this is just a big blip that will be the beginning of something better. I'm petrified that it's all going to go wrong. But I owe it to the kids, I want to be able to look them in the eye and know that I did everything that I could to make it work.
So from today I am not single but working on being a family with 2 parents.
I'm soooooooooo stressed out and worried that it's going to go right back to how it was, I've discussed our future at length and I'm not prepared to risk loosing my degree again so the children will remain at nursery and I have some friends on standby incase hubby lets me down with sharing the drop offs/ collections etc. let's hope it all works out in the wash.:pGetting debt free and moving on from separation one day at a time.:p:o
