Wouldn't offer a refund or credit note so will be off for repair. One of the faults I've since discovered is software related which may or may not be fixed at some point by Asus, not a major fault just an annoyance. Last time I use PC world for anything, should have known better. And if you're planning on getting an Asus t100 don't expect it work properly out of the box.

Have bought a 64gb surface pro from Microsoft for £306 which was going to be for the wife but she'll have to share.

EDIT: Totally misread the post, ignore me!
    Squirrel!
If I tell you who I work for, I'm not allowed to help you. If I don't say, then I can help you with questions and fixing products. Regardless, there's still no secret EU law.

    Don't ask this guy ...

16 year battle with PC World

Not sure why it matters that hes a father of two ?
    Or that he's 44.

We bought a laptop for my daughter for Christmas last year. We were not hassled to buy insurance, virus protection or a dodgy finance scheme. We were shown an alternative (slightly) more expensive option but not pressurised in any way.

Towards the end of January it started Blue Screening on a regular basis so we took it back. They just straight swapped it for a new one. No argument or discussion. Probably less than 15 minutes, including parking the car.

I've no problem with PC World.
