how on earth do I explain how to lay a laminate floor. :o

I am a woman... so here is my attempt at instructions

    Open box... look puzzled.
sweep floor, mop floor, scrub floor.... make sure it dries fully

look puzzled, make a cuppa look puzzled...

Figure out which way you want the boards running (normally the shortest width to make it look wider)

Start laying the boards in the middle, make sure clicked/glued (subject to type of boards) we nailed ours as it was wood. work way out and cut the bits at the edge to fit!

Alternatively say to a capable man.. I will make it worth you whilst if you lay this floor for me... then make him a cup of tea and a burger for his troubles xxx

Think she just unloads everything on me. I could be wrong but she doesn't moan at DS and bro ignores her when she starts moaning at him.

I know exactly where you're coming from (ssssh aau!), my mum is the same. She always confides in me and tells my brothers that everything is fine, when I know it's not. She doesn't go out and she doesn't like when I go out even if it's for work. It's hard to help someone who doesn't want to help themselves. :(

    [STRIKE]Yep [/STRIKE]
Sunderland undone by a set-piece as United lead at half time. Evans' goal makes
it all square over the two legs, should the score line remain this way the game
will go into extra time and if after extra time it's still 2-2 on aggregate
United's goal at the SoL will come into play and they'll edge into the final.

How can she get a house because she is on the transfer list, without offering her house in return???

Really depends how many they count as compulsory. If science is compulsory it wont be in the choices.

There was talk of encouraging everyone capable to take maths, english, IT, science and a foreign language.

thanks for the reply welsh maths english science are all compulsary
no foreign language as they do welsh and english second language but can take french as an option ,
ds3 now understands he has less choices as they do the welsh, he did say can he drop english :o told him no he agrees he needs english
he says now he needs 5 A to C grades to get on his college course so the extra option does not matter oh to have your live all planed at such a young age, :D

Well he outlived his Dad by just a year, he was so so relieved to get to 48 but died just a month later. I worry about HC his extra weight will not do him any good :(

I was knocked sideways by MKS's story and ......another thought provoking post. It's difficult Westie....we all know what's best for us but actually finding the motivation to do it is another thing. :o

Am I the only one who thinks these little Cushelle Koalas are actually quite cute. :o

Mine arrived today thanks OP. :)
(I'm doing terrible job of remembering OPs lately and too lazy to look back. :o)

If you all stop squashing their faces with the plastic bags they come in they do look much better honestly. ;)

DS likes his, when I said 'hasn't he got a funny face' he told me off and said 'No mummy don't say that, that's naughty. He's got a nice face' :rotfl:

    That's me told :o
