Hehe it's for work. He's a former cold case detective and is now a judge. He frequently ends his emails to me with 'LOL'. I love him a bitDebt free 6th December 2014

secondly......sending you hugs.....it must really bring you down hearing those things she says......but at least she feels able to say them to you which we all know means she trusts that you will still love her no matter what she says......sounds like she is just low and needing to vent - and you are the one she can do that to hunni......sorry no advice ....just hugs and hopes that you find a way to smile your way through those moments:A
It does bring me down and if I got something else on my mind makes it worse. I do love her and like you say she knows that.

In between weekdays she goes intown and the folk in flats go on trips to see shows probably once a month
I could understand it if she didn't do anything or saw anyone.
Flip she is busy. My mum does not want to do anything unless it is with one of us.. and if I come home in an evening if I don't see her she sulks... If my sister goes into town without her she sulks.... she will never ring anyone but if you don't ring her she sulks.... indeed she sulks 90% of the time! But she is still mum, and I am sure you know that feeling xxx100 -

I just wish mum would (sorry if this upsets anyone) stop going on about dying.
My mum passed away 3 Christmas' ago but when she first retired and my daughter was only about 3 or 4, Mum always used to talk about some lovely glasses she had kind of modern shaped lager ones but with gold leaf and stars on them and she always would say to my daughter when Nanna dies they will be yours....and one day a friend of mum's passed away and I took her along to the funeral, on our return, mum was feeling very morbid and sorry for herself and said to my daughter, something on the lines of "it won't be long before nanna goes to heaven" without skipping a beat at the age of 3 or 4 my daughter said "does that mean I can have those glasses then?" Not the response mum was after in her hour of depressive thoughts but certainly gave me a laugh at he time and years after0 -
