Thrifty_Sister wrote: »Afternoon peeps - been t's bargain hunting with a friend today but only got known stuff inc tags & bows etc and one teeny tiny first Christmas pink hat - all 10p each.Just to mention, in my T's I found some more Xmas stock located in a completely different aisle today. There is a seasonal clearance section, however I also found a lot of things down a completely different aisle as well. So if you have time have a good look around the entire store.
Cards, paper, paper plates, tags all seem to be scanning at 5p or 10p.
I Hope they re-stock the burgers and the glitch continues!
Off to have a well earned cup of tea and read some more of your hilarious restaurant stories, before I pick up my little girls.
A quick question please... one of my stores has the hand held scanners in. Can you check prices/scan items and then cancel off items yourself if you change your mind? My only store with a scanner has taken it downTiger

Afternoon elite
I'm still not getting on very often to post
Had a fab afternoon having a cuppa with the lovely Bubbs yesterdaywhich reminds me, really must find that candle :rotfl:
Things are a bit busy here in one way or another, so many different things going on it makes it hard to get online very often
I think I need the elites help to save my sanity. I'm currently pacing the carpet and think I need to poas
I've popped on to stop me wearing an even bigger hole in the carpet than I've spent the last few days doing. I've put it to the back of my mind for a few days hoping I wouldn't need to but I'm thinking I'll have to bite the bullet and tell DH.
He probably won't thank me for saying on here but it's not something I'd want to mention to him while he's at work today (better off in person)
Sorry to waffle on, just typing here's made me feel so much better, I might even get some housework done now :rotfl:
Dippy, what are you waiting for, go get a stick and find out!
Whatever the outcome i hope its what you want.
Big hugs hun x (im secretly v v excited for you though:D)What does poas mean please ?
Took me two or three reads to suss it tweets:rotfl:

The hand scanners are perfect for checking prices - and it's easy to remove stuff you don't wantremember to take your bags with you to pack as you go round.
