you get back the difference right which was 47p...(is it 10% aswell??)

    so £3 - 47p = £2.53 for 12 pots custard.... making them 21p/22p each

    Thankyou Cj

EDIT - Ahh yes -10% on top

Years ago I was in a hotel bar having lunch with some friends - I had stuffed chicken wrapped in bacon. It was just as well I decided to peel back the bacon first as the under side of the chicken was completely raw. I said to our waitress about it - she didn't seem too concerned but then asked me, "would you like it done a bit more than that?"

I have also been asked before by a waiter how I would like my chicken cooked (as if it were a steak I had ordered!):rotfl: I would like it COOKED, that is how I would like it cooked!

    :rotfl:

Reminds me of when I was Christmas shopping years ago at a Christmas market.

I was felling hungry so I decided to try the German rostbratwurst from the German food stall

So I asked the German guy behind the stall can I have one of those please.

And I held out myhand. l I don’t know what the bloody hell he thought I wanted because he placed the sausage directly into the palm of my hand.

It burnt like mad as it was straight off the grill.

So I dropped the sausage on the floor then when he gave me my change I dropped that to and it rolled under his stall :o

I was tamping and when I complained all I got was I don’t speak English

So it cost me a fiver for a burnt palm:mad:

    Afternoon elite :)
I think I need the elites help to save my sanity. I'm currently pacing the carpet and think I need to poas
I've popped on to stop me wearing an even bigger hole in the carpet than I've spent the last few days doing. I've put it to the back of my mind for a few days hoping I wouldn't need to but I'm thinking I'll have to bite the bullet and tell DH.
He probably won't thank me for saying on here but it's not something I'd want to mention to him while he's at work today (better off in person)
Sorry to waffle on, just typing here's made me feel so much better, I might even get some housework done now :rotfl: :o

Good luck :) Not sure what you'd want the result to be but either way, good luck :D

You can get cheapies at Home Bargains, but also my local ASDA does those 2 for £1 packs. Always better to get cheap and then buy the expensive or digital ones to get confirmation.

Hi there - I'm new around here but have been an avid lurker for a while. Not sure if you're aware of a wait rose glitch at the moment....

Can't post a link but search for ribeye steak at wait rose

Their essential ribeye steak is up at £6.30 per kilo on their website - it actually should be £20.99 per kilo.

I've made two orders for this so far and this is what happened:

1st order - for delivery. Ordered 5 x units of steak (31.50) then stuff to take it to the £50 for min order / free delivery. When order came there were 5 packs of steak and I had been charged 6.30 per kilo. Very cheap for ribeye steak.

Next order was placed by my partner for collection. Again, ordered 5 units. When collected we had been charged the pack prices in the store (@20.99 per kilo) - queried this and showed them the website and had difference refunded.

Don't forget free bottle of champagne (selling at 19.99) with first order in January - hence me ordering and partner ordering....

Makes for a rather cheap deal.

    Hope that helps someone

    Hello
May I ask app what weight are the packs, so I can work out an order for delivery. Presume they should be £6.99 per pack, so I recon about 300g per pack in which case I would need 24 packs if charges at £6.99 per kg To get free champers and delivery.

    From a shop I did today - A v S

    10 x Ambrosia Custard Pot Devon (150g)£4.00 £3.53

custard pots are 25p each at Asdas (showing as any 5 for £2 on MSM).....53p each or 3 for £1 @ Sainsburys

I bought a total of 12 for £3 @ asda ....only max of 10 showing on APG though ....and @ £4
I don't think the number 12 is relevant, I think the best result is just to do as msm tells you.

    Buy 10 for £2.50, apg = £4 v £3.53, so £0.82 return.

    £2.50 - £0.82 = £1.68 or 17p each.:T

    Nice spot Cj.:D:D

I've used cheapies before (I've had a Clomid baby and poas was second nature back then :rotfl: ) I think savers or poundland have some cheapies :)
