I have a business account, use to have an ebay shop. It has it's upsides, you can subscribe to additional tools to track sales & print off business info. Downside is once changed to business can't change back. Also when operating as a business on ebay you have to accept returns for upto 30 days after sell. Distance selling regs don't apply to every day ebay accounts. Hth a bit

Hi thanks for the info didn't know about returns. Have looked into it and noticed another seller is saying returns excepted minus the costs incurred by them I.e. Fees and postage. Is this ok to do?

    Thanks

Evening all. It has taken me about an hour to catch up! And now I only have time to make one post before sleep.

All of these dog pictures are giving me puppy envy :) So many cuties.

was this on tonight? I watched the first 2 episodes. It's a real eye opener, lol. You paint a pretty picture of your nephews mum  :D

I really like this programme! Last week's was really upsetting though. Felt really bad for the Romanian men who were tricked into coming to the UK with the promise of good jobs, and then had their passports taken, forced to work ridiculously long hours for nowhere near as much money as promised :(:( They all looked so sad and missed their families and were so hungry..

Hi I've never bothered with the handheld scanners up to now . Do they let you use them just for scanning things or do you buy the things you scan too, or just hand the scanners back then buy the reduced things and go to another checkout or ss Thank s :D

You can pack your bags as you're walking around, you're supposed to be able to get to the self scan bit at the end and just scan the screen, put your scanner back, pay and leave. Sometimes you have to be authorised though, they claim it's only the first time or so. I haven't been stopped the last few times I went :) To authorise it, they just briefly glance at what you bought, it's nothing rigorous (at least not in mine).
Just in case there's a lull in the chitchat tonight, I'll offer up this as a topic:
What you have been called if you'd been born the other sex?
So, ask your parents (if you can), and if you don't already know.
I would have been a 'Lyndsay'.:)

    And what about...
What would you like to be called if you were the other sex, and had the choice of name?
I'm quite liking the sound of Jenny, now, thanks to Emmap:T

I'm not sure if I'm misremembering. I think if I was a boy I might have been called Ashley? Or Taylor? Can't remember. If I was a man, I don't know what I would want to be called. I always liked the name Josh, so maybe that :)

    Good night everyone :)

If I was a man, I'd like to be called Max Power like in the Simpsons episode.

    Wait a minute.
I am a man. And not called Max Power.

If I was a lady I'd probably have a name like Agnes Shufflebotham.:(

    I'll be asleep.
    Sleeping gas s a l e s rocket during the filming season.
The gas is circulated around the whole population apart from war criminals and terrorists. Although many feel even they should be protected from the Jeremy Kyle guests with their "good faces for radio".

Morning all  I fell asleep on the sofa and now I'm wide awake. Isn't that the way when you need to be awake early!
