Hi there.:)
Well, I only go out a day out to another country yesterday, stop at Mr A's on the way back, and find a glitch!:rotfl:
A's Smartpricey Welsh Potatoes (2.5kg) are comparing vs Sainsbobs, and I happened to be doing a Sainsbobs comp. (Until two minutes ago, I was rather pleased about this - brings the price back down to around £1.07 for the sake of us having to wash the potatioes - but I now discover that another item has gone significantly down in price in Mr M so they've taken back more than what the potatoes gave:( - I am losing out by not doing those Morries collections (stuffed, to the tune of a penny on my last vs T comp. as well, as M turned out cheaper on one item) - come on, msm, get M on there now!) Do you have to check every item we are thinking of getting on M's website first to see that M aren't cheaper?
I'm posting the comps. vs everyone, to show off the fact I 'won' on the potatoes vs Sains.:rotfl: And, also now to draw attention to my being caught out vs M:(.
I've just googled around, and SP Welsh Potatoes were 97p some time ago. Also they have not always compared - I also found a post (from an Elite thread months back) where they returned N/A vs Sains. Last time I bought the SP (English) Potatoes, they went N/A vs everybody. A 'reasonable' filler given the prices elsewhere on non-comp. similars.
So - SP 2.5 Potatoes bag is vs Sainsbobs (possibly in Wales only) and Rice Snaps are vs M. Symbols below reflect the reaction on my doing a Sainsbobs comp. Store had no WW Bakewell Slices left (darn those A r'backs), so I went for the Lemon Slices instead. I thought that the SP Welsh Potatoes might not appear at all (erring too much on the side of caution it turns out), so I bought too much again. And had to buy another (6 pint) milk separately, as they had no 1%!!
:( Thought the 1% milk, if the store in Wales had it, might return N/A there but may compare if bought in stores in England.

Morning everyone,
RL has got in the way a bit recently so I've not been around much. I think I have caught up on the past 24hrs though so I know that there are several people with troubling things going on so my thoughts are with you guys.
I also see that most people have full freezers, I too am in that boat but still can't resist a yellow sticker!
My to do list for today is-
Pop my M&S cherry (will have to evict bread from freezer)
Print off vouchers and get Warbs thins (err, different bread into freezer!)
T's for burgers (can use some evicted rolls to eat these in)
Waitrose stop for free coffee (anything I should look for in here?)
And if time Sada for Dr O's. Will have to donate these to friends and family as no way these will fit in the freezer but for 10p it would be a shame not to get them. BTW, is there any way of knowing when the offers will finish in Sada, as with T's etc?
Sunny outside so looking forward to a good day. Hope you all have lovely days too xx
Thank you to everyone whose advice has helped me in my desperate quest to make ends meet. x
EDIT-Back on the quest, I've been away too long!0 -

You can be there for a couple of hours
and am sure that will be a huge booster
for your nephew to have you there

social services they have a no tolerance

But so many have slipped through that net too
its a fine line to walk but my advice would be
to follow your gut instinct and try and spend
more time with your nephew if possible , its so sad
and am sorry you having to go through this
Thank you Perky :A
I will be having a word with SS at work tomorrow, ask for their advice. He is still in the system so I can ring his SW and pass my concerns on
