Calibre is a way of bypassing certain controls for downloading books onto your reader. Put the books into the library and they will transfer to yours.

Also follow the above instructions and should solve your library problems too.

Alternatively I also have Adobe Digital Editions for library books, but they are time limited on there.

Thank you. I ve got adobe digital editions too but I forget what to do as I don't always have time to read. The library books I try to download are for 3 weeks. I ll have a read and see if I can understand it :)

I was thinking if doing this - going through the website to find £1 things that could be delivered to store :D

Great idea, even more of a bargain. Unfortunately my nearest store is 20 miles away, so bit the bullet & placed one order, just lucky they sent items seperately :D

Just found a possible bargain on Argoose site. Type Habitatt Towel in search box & several are coming up £1 (bath towels & bath sheets) only a couple of colours but for that price a steal :D

So that's the thing everyone is saying their orders have been cancelled for - Ive been trying to read back to find it.
The colours are not good though
Why are orders being cancelled - still showing as that price for me ....

    Morning everyone :)

I was supposed to be helping at the foodbank for a few hours and going to a party in Bedford afterwards but just looked at myself in the mirror this morning and laughed. A right state.

So looks like you're stuck with me for another day! Nice cranberries tuneage last night dave.

How do you help out at the foodbank - what do you actually do?
    Sounds really interesting.

Mimi is there something you not telling us ?

Poppy just got an email ;) telling her someone is a year older today :bdaycake:Happy Birthday if it is :D

TWEETS - the date of birth on my FB is fake. I think I am about 50 on there. LOL. I'm not allowed FB with my real name / details because of work. Still got 6 months left.

How are you my sweet treat and how about POPPY?

You need to authorise your Nook with the Digital Editions if you want to use it - connect your Nook to the computer, open digital editions, help, authorise device (or something along those lines :) )

    So, so sad.

I thought something sounded dodgy from the beginning, especially when it was on the news that the little boy hadn't been back to Nursery since Xmas.

Something still puzzling me, if someone is trying to hide a crime, why not say nothing rather than report him missing? If the mother had said nothing and then when eventually people had asked where the child was, surely it would be easy to make some lie up - like gone overseas with family.

There is nothing stranger than folks.
