It is a used one, so there's nothing regarding it on the invoice.

It's clearly one that's used by tesco in their warehouse.

Did you collect your order in store? If so I would return it straight back to customer services at that store.

If the order was posted you could email HO and explain, and ask them what they would like you to do with it.

Why is it that whenever someone is just downright outright rude to me I just turn into a blubbering mess and I don't stand my corner.

We went out last this morning having waited for the postman so it was late when we went out but whilst we out a company tried to deliver flowers. Apparently they tried twice sometime between 10.30 and 2.30 and the neighbour would not take them in.
So the company left a message on the answer phone for me to ring.
I've just rang and a very sharp lady answered the phone and more or less said it was my fault for not being in (although I obviosuly didnt know the flowers were coming) so I am not getting my flowers despite my not knowing they were coming. She now says her delivery driver does not work on Saturday afternoon so the flowers will not be delivered until Monday. She might try and deliver this evening but this will put her out as it will mean her going the wrong way home.
She knew the person who ordered them was abroad and I told her it was my son out in kabul. I don't think they made much of an impact on her.
She said she might deliver them tonight which I said would be nice as its my birthday on Sunday - made me feel like getting the delivery tonight I will be inconveniencing her.
just looked the company up and they are situated about 10 minutes from here and their website does say deliveries 7 days a week - I can't believe a flowers delivery company only does Saturday mornings when everyone is out all week.
not in the best place as it is. We try not to listen to the news if we can but sometimes it sneaks up on you and it was on the car radio. yesterday there was a big bombing to do with the forthcoming elections and several UN employees were killed - it brings you up sharp. I know son is safe or as safe as its possible to be in that hellhole but its still far too close for comfort.

How disappointing for you, why did she not just send them in a taxi to you. My friend delivers flowers all the time for local company when their driver is off.

Please enjoy them when they come. Lovely gift from your boy xxxx

but in my box was a hand held Motorola computer like thing. It has a value of around £2000
What would anyone advise? Many thanks

"thing" isn't exactly very descriptive......if you've managed to find out it's value surely you need to know exactly what it is and would also be capable of googling info on unsolicited goods to see if what you claim has happened comes under that act or the distance selling regs.

Hi I've been a lurker for a few months. You are all a great bunch of people, more like a family, it's wonderful. A great big thanks to you all.
I'm looking for a bit of advice, Can anyone please offer any advice as to what they would do.

I received an online order from tesco direct, but in my box was a hand held Motorola computer like thing. It has a value of around £2000
What would anyone advise? Many thanks

Do the honest and decent thing and return it.

Is it worth waiting for please, as you gave no clues yesterday what it was or where and unfortunately did not report back.

Personally, I would prefer not to receive a glitch alert without any further information ... Saves wondering what I am missing and on an evening is the difference between a relaxing evening with a selection from my cellar or a coffee in case a late night visit to A or T may be required :o

That said, I appreciate these things being tested to save everyone a wasted journey or to see if corrected on MSM/APG.

Given your comment about waiting for results, we can deduce it is in A and linked to APG results. Any further clues please?

    Many thanks

Agreed, either share it or keep it under your hat.period.

almost 24 hours after the "glitch alert" not an iota has been shared.

It does state that I can keep it as a gift under the unsolicited goods act, but I'm not sure if morally that's the correct way to go.
