  • Preperation have more or less finally finished for my dad's birthday tomorrow :)

    Presents wrapped
    Card ordered and received
    Cake bought
    Party bags pretty much filled
    Balloons and badges sorted
    Restaurant booked

Now all I gotta do is decide what to wear :o

Thank you folks for all your help with his presents. I got him a camera, am giving him some cash and I've hand written a little notebook of money saving tips so that when he retires later in the year, he can do it comfortably :)

Sounds wonderful QoC - so thoughtful of you :)

Hope everyone doesn't think I'm a snotty mare saying "just" retail. I didn't mean it derogatory. I love never knowing who's gonna walk in the shop door.
I could tell you some stories I tell ya.:D

I did not think that. I work behind the scenes in a retail environment. I do not have the the temperament to serve but the staff often put themselves down. It is a job and those who are good at enjoy the work, so I am sure that not only will you be good at it but happy. So its win win for you and the employer
