Been one of those days again!! Went to sada this afternoon and managed to get some woopsies, got the reducing lad to reduce them a little more no harm in asking, so I got everything at 10%.Just cooking some lamb neck fillet, paid 93p for 2 bits!!
When I got home I was knackered as it was a 5 mile walk there and back and without my boot it took me 3 hrs!! I'm now aching all over!!
I had to take some rubbish to the bin but I wish i hadn't, 'cos when I opened the bin I saw that my wife had chucked a load of stuff in there before clearing off. So I decided to see what she'd thrown away, then I saw it.... the photo album of our wedding! I'm now looking at it and keep wondering how and where it all went wrong, I'm in bits! She wont answer the phone or return texts and I don't know where she's living. I'm feeling really down right now.
Sorry.

Now you've got me thinking about Yiddish words.
How about- Shmalz - which is melted fat, as people been talking about using melted fat to feed birds but can also be used instead of Cheesy - Shmalzy
Chutzpah, pronounced - Hootspah - meaning having a lot of nerve/cheek/being overly confident
And for anyone with a cold - Gazuntite - which literally means good health, but is used as - God Bless you
Thanks, I'm signed up to a word a day (anything for a freebie!)...they had a yiddish theme late last year!:D

That's a good womble! Except it's not (a womble). I like the Cod Portions and the Naan Breads, and at least they (or rather you) bought the right Cathedral cheese!
Mine - the womblee bought me the Crisp n Dry Veg Oil which, as it's £2 offer in T at the moment, I was pleased about rather than the usual very cross! (Bit strong for it though.) With the packet of bacon that I thought might compare vs T - and with me losing several times when they buy Cathedral at £2 the week after it's gone to £4+ elsewhere:(, I saw some £4 Cathedral at last and thought it might be good.
Sadly:(:( (and :rotfl:), they bought the 2x350g pack, which is £6.50 (that's an 'offer' price unbelievably) at T and thus lost everything they gained on the Veg Oil. Receipt gives nil return vs everywhere.

The "S"P Beef Frying Steak is comparing, at that amount, to £5.51 for Sains.
Though you don't have to take that up! Hope it might save someone some money if they were already buying it so that they (you) put it on the right shopping comp.!
Of course, while that bacon compares (at £2.55) for M, and that Cathedral is returning N/A, the Crisp n Dry Veg Oil is much more expensive for M so everything is lost there! (Although not as expensive as Sains on the Crisp n Dry - Sains. £4.00:eek::mad: - there's my usual crossness back again there:rotfl:, but the worst one is the Cathedral comparing to £7.49:eek::eek:_pale_ for Waities.)

glitch (or glitsh) is Yiddish, too - literally “slip,” “skate,” or “nosedive,” and hence 'a problem or error'.

I tried to schmooze the restaurant we are all going to on Friday, see if I could blah an NHS discount.

Sorry.
We are going to need to get you one of the cheap kids scooters to rest your boot on. That is a long walk.
So sorry you looked in the bin as you would just have assumed she had taken it.
Nice to know you are eating well tonight as this aids the mind which has problems if not supplied with protein.
Did you try the dvla about the tax disc as was not hers to get refund on. I suppose you can't sort car insurance yet until can get car taxed.
Her not answering phone or texts is just putting her head in the sand. Atleast she has not blocked your number completely.
One thing you do know is that if she needs you for any reason she will be in contact. She is safe and well and definately not skint.
This is not said in a heartless way just the facts as I read your post as you are worried about her.
You have spent the last 12 years of your life looking out for her and you can't just turn that off.
We are here for you and some of us at very strange times (pd and myself at 3.30am:eek:)
Bloody boiler man, waited in all day and he turned up at 5.15pm was pouring when he left so appologys for anyone expecting post from me it will be in box tomorrow.
